Church
We attended church yesterday for the first time since the children came to us. We bravely dropped them off at Children's Lessons, which run during the first half of the service. Right before communion all the children rejoin their families via a processional into the sanctuary. Our children looked quite relieved to see us again. Andy was baptised in Russia, so he was able to take communion along with us.
I was very happy to be back at church.

We attended yesterday for the first time too. All went well until after the service when we were mobbed by congregation members. Can you say 2 seconds from meltdown?
Glad it went well for you.
How wonderful! And I love the poems you added. It is a wonderful time of year.
How wonderful that church went well, what awesome progress. You must be so proud:)
God Bless!
Glad they did well at church. That is one thing I think about alot. I wonder if our child will think of it as if we are leaving them. Glad to hear A&J did well.
That's such great news!! I'm glad the kids have each other to venture into new experiences ;o)
At our church a new little girl came last year (adopted from Russia-age 1-1/2). Older sis went into the children's class with her. Sounds like that helped them as well to stick in pairs for a year or so, even though the older sis is years older. The older sis loved being with the younger kids and her new little sister ;o)
Take care, Alison
Glad church went well. That is one of L and El's favorite places. They ask if we're going to church a lot. They love their little class. Glad to hear your two did well.
