Name that author

Great Expectations: surf on over to D&L's blog to congratulate them on their long-awaited court date. D&L were our traveling buddies on the last trip. They will arrive in Khab right before our court date and will have their date while we are still there.

Hard Times: our beloved Holly dog has a cancerous tumor. Surgery on Friday, biopsy to special lab in Colorado, results back in two weeks: the day after court day.

Charles Dickens is Great Expectations (but sadly I don't know if he is the author of Hard Times) Hard to believe I once wanted to be an english major. Of course then I read Great Expectations and dropped that like a rock!

Sorry to hear about one of your babies.

Both books are by Dickens, right? How exciting that you and L will be back in the region at the same time, picking up your children.

Sorry to hear about your Holly dog. I know how difficult that can be. Hang in there, and keep us posted.

You are the second person this week who told me their pet had cancer. I am so sorry. My girlfriend just had to put down her cat. I will say a prayer.

Sorry to hear about Holly. That's going to be hard to leave her while she's recuping and you're waiting for test results. Hopefully they can remove it all and she'll be running and playing with your kids when you come home! They'll love their sobaka!

I'm very sorry to hear that your pup has cancer. I hope that it can all be removed easily and that it's not terribly serious. We lost our dog a few years ago to stomach cancer and I still really miss him. He was the greatest!

Hi Suzanne! I have been reading your story/blog since discovering blogger through our adoption journey via computer. It is exciting and COngratulations on your trip in 4 DAYS! I love their names and ages! You are going to have a blast! I have signed in before my blog was created as MMT and now, Voila MaliMai @ "On Our Way To Russia!" I love your word cloud! Is it hard to get it on the blog? I am not real savvy but I love the look. I assume I should wait a while until I have real details to put into the cloud? Aren't they both Charles Dickens? And I was an English Major - yikesssssssss! Creative Writing degree not literature so am I off the hook a little bit! :) We're reading, watching and praying for you! MaliMai
